Personnel certification is a certificate issued by an independent, competent body confirming the compliance of proven qualifications and competencies with predefined educational objectives. Skilled employees thus have their professional qualifications confirmed by an independent source.

Skilled employees are essential for a successful company. Competition for Skilled employees and high potentials is becoming increasingly deep in times of global mobility and the context of the “New Work.” Especially in saturated markets with increasingly interchangeable product offerings, competent personnel is becoming a decisive competitive factor.

Personnel Certification: securing quality standards company-wide
For companies, an employee with a Personnel Certification is a reliable and verified workforce that can contribute to the company’s sustainable success – and according to internationally recognized standards. Independent proof of personal qualifications is also becoming increasingly important for individuals because the significance of school reports and training is becoming less and less critical when it comes to career planning.
Internationally, the competencies of individuals become comparable based on the personal certificate according to DIN EN ISO 17024. This international standard defines uniform requirements for the working methods of Personnel Certification Bodies. Thus, Personnel Certification is based on a globally recognized set of rules, which includes advantages for companies as well as for the individual: For globally active companies, a Personnel Certification is an essential tool for human resources development, which they use to advance their employees, increase their competencies, and secure competitive advantages for themselves. In principle, both individuals and companies can have the qualifications of employees checked and confirmed by independent third parties.
